PTOS Download instructions:

*** All users must be out of PTOS!****

From the Server:

1. Go to the PTOS main screen (Not the Login Screen)
2. Hold down the Control button and press F12.
3. Write down the current system path. (Very Important)
4. Close PTOS, making sure all users are out.

From the Internet:

1. Open the internet browser
2. Go to www.PTOS.com
3. Click on the word “support”
4. There is an option at the bottom to click “Click Here”, click on it.
5. Enter the Client Number using all caps.
6. Enter the Zip Code
7. Press “Go”
8. Click on the “VPTOS 3.0.171” link, then click "Save"
9. A “Save As” box pops up. Using the drop down arrow go to the drive that your VPTOS is running from. (this is what you wrote down earlier from PTOS)
10. Once you find the VPTOS folder, double click and open it.
11. Once opened, click “Save”.
12. A message will pop up asking if the existing file should be replaced, click “Yes”.
13. The download will start from there.
14. Once the download is completed, it will either bring you back to the internet screen or it will ask you to close the download complete box. If that box pops up, click on “close”
15. Close out of the website and exit the internet.
16. Double click on the PTOS icon.
17. A security warning box may pop up, remove the check mark from “always ask before opening file”, then click "Run". If you forget to do this, then each time you try to open PTOS, this box will appear.
18. Log into PTOS.
19. Say ok to all pop up messages that appear on the screen. Then go to “System Tasks” and “Reset Files”. (You may get a message telling you to backup your files and that certain files may need to be upgraded. Say ok to them and continue to System Tasks and Reset Files)
20. Once you have reset files, everything should be back to normal. And your version number should be 3.0.171.
